Hallo．My name is AAA．I am a Japanese student.

I went to the Yasukuni Shrine an August 15th the memorial day of the end of the war．The story about the Yasukuni shrine is written in the Japanese textbook．During the war Japanese soldiers exchanged the words “If we are killed in the Battle, we will meet at the Yasukuni”, and they went to a battle-field．
After the war people that survived the war and their descendants have visited the Yasukuni．It deifies the war dead．
Nowadays, however that thing is criticized by Korea and China．Because the Yasukuni Shrine deifies war criminals too．The prime minister Koizumi changed the previous practice and visited the Yasukuni on 13th two days earlier than usual．
The Yasukuni deifies not only the people killed in the battle but also the people we call “Jyugo” they war burned to death by air-raid．Old people, women and children that were followed by the enemies killed themselves in a group．The shrine deifies people that were active for the country after the Restoration of Meiji．
People during the war were confused about the world situation．But people loved their country and were taught to be loyal to the emperor, they engaged themselves in the battle, most of them were killed．
If the people who did against humanity or led the war became war criminals, not only Japanese but Americans who made air attacks and dropped the atomic bombs must be war criminals．War is mad．In war are winner justified? Were the criminals who were dead to atone for their sin despised?
We live in comfort in Japan．We can think of the bright future．At least on the memorial day the end of the war we have got to think about people killed in the war．
While peaceful society has been made, many people died．I am proud to be a Japanese, and I will respect the old people．
